The mining project economics database

We turn the numbers buried in mining technical reports into clean, comparable data. Every gold PEA, PFS and FS since 2018: after-tax NPV, IRR, AISC and grades, pulled from the filings, linked to source and normalized to USD. Which gold feasibility studies have an IRR above 40%? I care about capital efficiency, so which one needs the least upfront capex?

NPV C$1,127M post-tax · IRR 114.6% · capex C$193.9M · payback 0.5 yrs · source filing ↗

Perron (Amex Exploration) is the capital-efficiency outlier: its 2026 feasibility study states C$193.9M initial capex against a 114.6% post-tax IRR, with payback in half a year. Diablillos carries the largest NPV, US$3.0B, but needs US$721.5M up front. Both figures link to the source filings if you want to verify.

An illustrative session. The figures are real, from the live dataset in July 2026, as stated in each company's filing.

About this directory

What is the Mining Stocks directory?
A research directory of 1,013 publicly listed mining companies across 15 commodities (gold, copper, lithium, silver, uranium and more), spanning global producers, mid-tier miners and junior explorers.
How do I screen mining stocks by project economics?
Filter the directory by after-tax NPV, IRR, AISC, mine life, initial capex, contained metal, market cap and dividend yield. A company matches when at least one of its projects satisfies every active filter at once.
Where does the project economics data come from?
NPV, IRR, AISC and production figures are drawn from companies' own technical reports: preliminary economic assessments (PEA), pre-feasibility (PFS) and feasibility studies (FS). They are normalised so projects can be compared side by side.
Can I download the underlying data?
Yes. The gold project-economics dataset (every PEA, PFS and FS since 2018, each figure linked to its source filing and normalized to USD) is available as a CSV on the Mining Stocks Data page, with a free sample to preview before buying.
Which commodities are covered?
Gold (321), Copper (197), Lithium (136), Silver (95), Uranium (77), Rare Earths (65), Nickel (43), Graphite (24), Platinum (16), Zinc (15), Diamonds (11), Diversified (6), Iron Ore (5), Aluminum (1), Tungsten (1).
