Standard Uranium Ltd (TSX-V:STND, OTCQB:STTDF, FRA:9SU0) said on Tuesday final assay results from its 2025 exploration program at the Rocas uranium project in Saskatchewan confirmed anomalous uranium and rare earth element mineralization across the property and will help guide an inaugural drilling campaign planned for March.

The fall 2025 program involved detailed mapping, prospecting and sampling across historical uranium showings and other target areas. The company said the work identified several zones of strong radioactivity and confirmed uranium mineralization in surface outcrop and boulder samples.

Assays from the sampling program returned uranium values ranging from 0.007% to 0.409% U₃O₈ from surface exposures across the property.

The work also highlighted significant rare earth element (REE) mineralization. A newly identified pegmatite outcrop returned grades of up to 9.83% total rare earth element oxides plus yttrium (TREO) alongside 0.016% U₃O₈, according to the company. Several samples returned rare earth grades exceeding 1% TREO, the company said.

Scintillometer prospecting during the program also uncovered previously undocumented radioactive occurrences across the property in rock types considered favourable for uranium and rare earth mineralization.

The project is currently under a three-year earn-in option agreement with Collective Metals Inc.

“The confirmation of high-grade rare earth elements alongside uranium mineralization throughout the Rocas project is a significant development that reveals substantial additional critical mineral value,” Standard Uranium’s president and vice president of exploration Sean Hillacre said in a statement.

Standard Uranium plans to begin its first-ever diamond drilling campaign at the project in March 2026, targeting high-priority zones along a 7.5-kilometre magnetic low and electromagnetic conductive corridor that hosts multiple uranium occurrences.

Recent geophysical work, including a high-resolution ground gravity survey, identified several gravity-low anomalies coincident with historical surface mineralization, lakebed geochemical anomalies and cross-cutting structures along known conductive trends.

The company said such gravity lows can indicate reduced rock density potentially associated with alteration zones linked to uranium mineralization.

Airborne electromagnetic surveys conducted previously also outlined conductive trends parallel to the Key Lake Road shear zone, while earlier lakebed sediment sampling identified uranium and other pathfinder elements in the top percentiles of regional geochemical data.

Standard Uranium said the Rocas project is considered prospective for shallow, high-grade basement-hosted uranium mineralization along the margin of the Athabasca Basin, where bedrock is covered by relatively thin glacial sediments.
