Continuous gold futures are up by 2%, climbing to $4,862.3 in early trading. For Mathieu Racheter, head of equity strategy research at Julius Baer, global markets have negatively “reacted to a fresh round of tariff rhetoric from Donald Trump targeting several European countries, accompanied by increasingly confrontational messaging.”
