("Aclara" or the "Company") (TSX: ARA) today announced that it intends to sell, on a non-brokered private placement basis, in two tranches, 24,215,548 common shares of the Company (the "Common Shares") for aggregate gross proceeds of US$50,000,001 (the "Private Placement") at a price of C$2.83 per share.
